The Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has released an updated list of medical devices that require specific authorization for export or reexport to Iran under the Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations.
On February 2, 2017, the Department of the Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) released an updated version of the List of Medical Devices Requiring Specific Authorization under the Iranian Transactions and Sanctions Regulations (31 C.F.R. pt. 560). This revised list updates and clarifies the scope of medical devices that are not authorized for exportation or reexportation to Iran under the general license at 31 C.F.R. Section 560.530(a)(3)(i).
