In Tchenguiz and others v Kaupthing Bank HF and another [2017] EWCA Civ 83 the Court of Appeal considered the relationship of the 2007 Lugano Convention to the Winding-up Directive and in so doing also considered the analogous relationship of the Recast Brussels Regulation to the EC Insolvency Regulation.
